The Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller will prevent and help remove scale deposits caused by mineral precipitation which can build up rapidly on pool or hot tub surfaces due to relatively high water temperatures.

It is essential to manage scale build‑up in hard water areas and this liquid descaler is also perfect for the removal and control of metallic stains that can occur when metallic compounds start to oxidise due to prolonged exposure to water and air, or certain chemical components.

As with all chemical products, instructions and warnings should be followed very carefully.

How does the Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller work?

The liquid scale controller contains chemicals, that act as sequestering agents. These agents bind to the mineral ions, effectively surrounding them and preventing them from coming together to form scale.

Clearwater® Scale & Stain Controller - Quick Start Guide:

Step 1: Shake the bottle well
Step 2: Measure the quantity needed 25ml initial dose or 15ml weekly dose in 1000L of water.
Step 3: Apply the measured liquid directly into the water with filter on.
Step 4: Win cases of heavy scale, filter change and floor cleaning may be required after treatment has finished.
